Triumph!

As we parked I sped from the car towards my goal of almost four months: the meeting of four different states in one identifiable speck!
Now for a play-by-play:
The wind was rushing in my ears, I barely felt the hot sun pounding down on my head as it melted into the horizon. I rushed past the Navajo displays, barely noticing the jewelry and painted pottery in my peripheral vision. There it was - my destination! I calculated the distance I knew I could make it. My moment as last! I made a giant leap towards four corners, my leg stretched like some odd ballerina; time seemed to slow and I flew weightlessly toward the finish line. As my foot touched the prize so did my body! After my complete body slam, I rolled over laughing hitting ground with my fists.

As should you,
Dylan

PS - Sorry no pictures of a splattered Dylan, mom was laughing too hard!

PPS We've escaped AZ. It seemed to be made of some strange quicksand that held us captive; or maybe we hit the proverbial wall. At any rate: we've made it to CO!

  1. Whew! When I only read your text (read: on my cell phone), I was thinking "Dylan, do NOT fall off that mountain!" Now I am greatly comforted by the photo which shows a lot of space and a nice cement wall to keep crazy pre-teen boys from going over the edge. If you prefer a different classification than "pre-teen boy" - like "monster truck dude" or something like that, just let me know.
