Today, since we have done nothing, I've decided to give you the top how-ever-many-I-can-think-of list of the weirdest and the wackiest things we have encountered on this trip!
1. Sunset while driving through the Badlands. The experience was amazing and was amplified by the fact that at that moment hundreds of buffalo's surrounded us. If that was for better of worse, you decide.
2. Number two is actually a tidbit of knowledge. Arizona does not participate in Daylight Savings.
3. No pictures for this, but as we drove home from SF on Noah's birthday we saw a plane coming in for a landing with highlights reflected in the clouds. It was eerie seeing two distinct headlights soaring hundreds of feet above the ground (hey, Herbie the Love Bug).
4. This picture my mom took, the Grand Canyon with clouds above and light from the sides - and some crazy, random tree growing in the middle of nothing. It, truthfully, does not look real!
5. At the Top of the World, in Las Vegas (for my birthday) we sat eating our gourmet French Toast (beyond yum!), when a body flew passed the windows and down into the oblivion below. Yikes!!! But no fear. You can pay for such 'joy'. It's a 'ride' where you hook up to a bungee-type cable and jump.
6. A naturally made reservoir. Now that isn't so very impressive, but what is impressive is that the Indian's (some 2,000 years ago) made irrigation ditches and put the lake to use!
7. In the Yellowstone's KOA we saw a man doing a weird and wacky form of Tia Chi. This was pretty weird. No, it was very weird. No, not even that covers it, it was the weirdest thing on the list!!!
Noah's parting has left us with an empty feeling and it also signifies the end of all plans (except a visit to Four Corners). Tomorrow we'll plan how to storm the castle (for all you Princess Bride people).
