Barn Animal Poetry

Well today the main thing was a farm and rather than just give you the play-by-play, I'd thought to give you all some poetry.  So here goes.  (sound of clearing throat)

Sheep
by Micah Cernoia

Of all the animals on the farm,
Only one is full of charm.
From fall till winter,
Has a coat full of splendor,
But spring and summer,
The coat is a real bummer.

Pigs
by Micah Cernoia

When dinner is past,
Who leaves last?
When the playings begun,
Who's face is so full he misses out on fun?
Why it's the pig of course,
And his stomach fells no remorse.

Cows
by Micah Cernoia

The leader far and wide,
Nothing shall make her cry.
Who shall make all your dairy and fast food needs come true?
(Even if she waddles in poo)
The cow deserves it's leadership,
Even people will settle for food from her hip!
Rabbits
by Micah Cernoia

Most lists leave out this animal,
Saying that rabbits are nothing, zilch, or even nul!
But rabbits so fuzzy and cute,
Every list should carry their name or be mute!
This has been Micah's Barn Animal Poetry!!!
And this is Micah saying:

Agape Micah

  1. Dear Micah:

Your poems were quite the "morning boosters"!
I look forward to more installments on horses, goats and roosters!

Keep up the good work, Wordsworth!!
