Finally on the road again after 10 days (for the Cernoias and 7 days for me) of staying put in Sunnyvale, CA. Today the Cernoias and I hit the road toward our destination of Las Vegas. This is the part of the trip I was fearing, sitting in a car for hours while doing nothing but staring out a window. Dylan constantly wanted to play poker, but we finally decided to do a sort of trivia game which passed much of the time (unfortunately Dylan and I were on a team, Micah and Miss Elizabeth were on a team and we lost both rounds which meant that Dylan and I had to carry all the bags to the hotel room and Micah got to pick the dinner spot). Overall, surprisingly, the journey wasn't
that bad and we all arrived at our hotel, about 2 hours away from Vegas, sane.
So far the part of the trip I've been with the Cernoias has been a eye opener. For one I've found a place in California I would
not want to live, and for second I never new Cali could be so cold. But besides that (so far) it has been a great experience, and I thank them so much for the opportunity!
